Lessons
|
Horses provide us all with an opportunity to be excited and passionate about an activity. They help teach responsibility, empathy towards caring for another being, improve balance, exercise and enjoy a feeling of accomplishment and self worth that comes from achieving small goals everyday. We teach with smiles and positive reinforcement with both our horses and students.
We realize that all students progress at different levels and adjust our lessons accordingly. Our students learn to groom and tack up their own horses as well as put them away after their lessons. It makes for a better understanding of the horses and teaches our riders responsibility and proper care of the animals.

Attire:
|
You are required to wear protective headgear. Until you decide to purchase a helmet of your own, helmets are available for use at the Farm, free of charge. For safety and comfort, long pants or jeans and hard-soled shoes (or boots), with a ½ inch heel are mandatory (no sneakers, sandals or shorts.) NOTICE: YOU are responsible to arrive for your lesson wearing the proper attire and equipment.

Cancellation Policy:
|
Please cancel your riding lesson at least 24 hours in advance. Lessons not cancelled 24 hours in advance will still be charged for their lesson, except in emergency cases or bad weather.

Riding Packages:
|
All lessons are purchased in blocks of four: A $92.00 deposit will be made in advance to pay for a block of four (4) half-hour private lessons. A $92.00 deposit will be made in advance to pay for a block of four (4), one-hour group lessons. 40-minute private lesson is $35.00 each.
One FREE LESSON will be provided to any student who refers a new student to us, provided the new student has paid for, and is participating in the Program.
Lessons are available in Western, Hunt, Saddleseat, and Driving.
Horse Shows - lesson horses may be available to take to shows during the year. Talk to Tina about availability and cost.
